Every student will need a district-issued Chromebook for the upcoming school year. Parents should visit the district website https://www.bearvalleyusd.org/ to fill out the Device Checkout Form. Then Chromebooks can be picked up at BBMS all day on Wednesday, July 29 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. If a student still has a Chromebook that they checked out last year, they may keep it. However, parents will still need to complete the Device Checkout Form. Students will be using district devices for distance learning this year, as personal devices such as tablets, cell phones, and family computers do not provide the security, nor seamlessly support the learning platforms we will be using to provide daily live interactive instruction.
