Monday- Wear Your Halloween Costume (No Masks, Gore, Blood, Nothing On Your Face. No Weapons or Inflatable Costumes!)
Tuesday- No School
Wednesday- White Lies (Wear A White T-shirt With A White Lie On It)
Thursday- Country vs. Country Club
Friday- Anything But A Backpack Day

Dear BBMS Families,
Friday, October 21st we will be having our annual Halloween Dance. Students must be academically and citizenship eligible to attend. Tickets are $7 pre-sale and $10 at the door. The dance will be held in the gym from 6:30-8:30pm. Costumes are optional, no masks, no weapons and no blood.

Monday- No Dress Up
Tuesday- Fall Colors Day! (Wear Red, Orange, & Yellow)
Wednesday- On Wednesdays We Wear PINK!
Thursday- White Out Day! (Wear All White)
Friday- Black Out Day! (Wear All Black)

Please help us protect our children. You are invited to a Presentation by Homeland Security Special Agent, Austin Berrier to help us learn how to protect our children. This is a must to attend.

We will be on Fall Break 10/10-10/14. School resumes 10/17. Monday 10/17 will be a late start. Breakfast starts at 9:50, school starts at 10:05. We hope you have a wonderful fall break!

Parent/Teacher conferences are from 10/3-10/7. We will be on minimum day schedule all week. The first bell rings at 8:05, class starts at 8:09. Dismissal is at 12:25 each day. Dear BBMS Families,
Last Monday we had an assembly where we discussed and honored all that was lost and learned from 911. Students have been going into more detail in their social studies classes to learn about 911 and the courage of the American spirit in its aftermath. Due to the fire and school not being in session, it was necessary to reschedule our 911 tribute. We are doing things a little different this year. We will be taking all students out to the sidewalk on Big Bear Blvd where we will have some of our local firefighter and sheriff heroes drive by so we can cheer for them and thank them for their service to our community. All students will have American Flags in show of support for all they do for our community. It would seem that with recent events and the Radford fire being so close to our community, it is even that much more important to show appreciation. Our tribute will take place this Friday September 16 at 8:45am. Parents are welcome to join us. This will only take a few minutes to celebrate our local heroes as they drive slowly past our school. Please wear red, white, and blue!
