BBMS Weekly Update!

Posted Date: 11/01/26 (04:00 PM)

Hello, Cub Families!

I hope everyone had a fun and festive weekend and made some great memories! The halls of BBMS were filled with creative costumes on Friday, and the air was full of excitement as we headed into the weekend. It was a fun way to wrap up the week!

Celebrating Our Cubs Who Show Up!

We recently celebrated more than 300 students who maintained 95% or better attendance during the first quarter! These students received a gift card to the Retro Arcade as a little thank-you for showing up and making their education a priority.

Attendance matters! Being at school consistently gives students the opportunity to build skills, stay connected to their learning, and make the most of each school day. We are proud of these students and want to encourage all of our Cubs to be here, ready to learn, every day. Way to show up, Cubs! Your commitment to your education is something to celebrate!

Supporting Our Cub Families

As we head into the holiday season, I want to share a community resource for families who may need a little extra support. The Bear Valley Holiday Giveaway Collaborative is accepting sign-ups for families in need of food and/or holiday gifts. Sign-ups will take place on the following dates:

  • Saturdays: November 7, November 14, December 5, December 12

All sign-ups will be held at the Elks Lodge, 40611 Village Drive, from 12:00–2:00 p.m. Please share this information with anyone who may benefit from this wonderful community resource.

Come Cheer on Our Cubs!

Our volleyball teams have some exciting games this season, and we'd love to see our Cub families in the stands! We have home games this Tuesday and Thursday as Cedar and Melva Davis come to visit. Come out, bring your Cub spirit, and help us cheer on our teams!

Saturday Academy 11/7

Just a friendly reminder that we will be having Saturday Academy this Saturday, November 7th from 8am-12 noon. This is a great opportunity for students to recover an absence and make up school work. Permission slips will be sent home on Monday but you can also call our office to sign your student up at 909-866-4634.

Thank you for being such an important part of our Cub Family. I appreciate your continued support and look forward to another great week at BBMS!

Gratefully,
Dr. Francisco
